Investing in renewable energy to rise 2 times higher than those in other sources of energy

Russian Ministry of Energy intends to help energy companies during the crisis.

According to Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Russia's investment potential in the renewable energy sphere is large enough to attract more money. Therefore, by 2035, investments in the sector are likely to increase to 53 billion dollars. Medium and small businesses will play the main role in the sphere development, the minister stated at the ENES-2015 Forum.

Within the 5 years the energy efficiency of the country increased by 9%, so the total volume of investments in renewable energy is estimated at 240 billion dollars by 2035. It is 2 times higher than investments in energy based on traditional sources, and will be 5.8 trillion against $ 2.7 trillion.
