Saratov plans to launch tires recycling

Recycling of old tires - one of the most important and promising areas for the improvement of the ecological state of the planet. To date, only about 20% of all waste tires are being processed, in spite of the availability of all necessary technologies.

A ton of tires contains about 700 kilograms of rubber, which reused in the production. If you burn these tires, they expose about 270 kilograms of soot and 450 kilograms of toxic substances to the atmosphere, without taking into account the forces and means spent for their final disposal after burning.

Saratov authorities were presented an ecoproject that offers to launch an old tires processing factory in the Saratov region. The project has the capacity of about  3000 tons of rubber products processing daily. The initiators of the projects plan to rise the capacity up to 5000 tons by 2017.

In addition to the environmental and economic advantages, the plant will provide jobs for about 60 people. If you implement the practice everywhere, it will be able to solve the employment problems for some parts of the population in conditions of unstable economic situation.
