International student competition for best ecology solutions started in Russia

Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs has recently opened registration for the ECO Solution Cup, an annual competition for the best ecology solution (ECO = Environmental + Competitive + Original).

Department of Applied Economics and Commerce of the university annually holds the cup for the best solution for the problems of ecology, environment, environmental management and sustainable development. According to organizers, the event will encourage those who want to implement UN principles sustainable development and to reduce the negative impact on the environment.

After completion of the registration phase in February, ECO participants will get a task - an environmental problem associated with a specific place. Their aim is to present the best solution for this problem.

In March next year, the jury will consider every decision and award the best of them. All the proposed decisions should be practical and effective.

ECO Solution Cup allows students under the age of 28 to participate in solving important and serious environmental problems and work out possible scenarios of their solutions, share experience and take a broader look at the problem of human impact on the environment. The event is held in several categories: sustainable urban development, sustainable business, technical ECO solution.
