Elgen Technologies company based in Moscow developed new generation waste heat to power plant for industrial users.
This technology was born in Moscow State Energy University. Company representatives state that It can be applied for medium and low temperature heat from 100 to 550 C.
Pilot prototype proved the outstanding efficiency - 26% vs 18% existing ORC plants and other features: CO2 reduction, fire and explosion safety, wide range of utilized heat and reliable operation in outdoor temperatures from (- 40) to 50°С without capital construction.
The startup is Skolkovo Foundation Resident and seek for investment for construction of commercial prototype. The potential end users from gas, oil, chemical, metallurgy, biomass and cement industries already expressed their interest.
Project team underlines that their technology is commercially viable solution to the worlds energy efficiency challenge and climate change threat.
