Rostov LighTech company has developed a technology that allows to produce flexible elongate electroluminescent light sources. Its power consumption is 25 times less than that of LED. At the moment this is the only clean, electroluminescent light source clearly visible from a distance, through the mist and smoke at a distance of more than 1 km. The source operates at temperatures from -59 to +65.
The area of light source application is wide and socially useful. It can be used for accurate emergency evacuation of a large number of people, including those in manufacturing, military, speleological expeditions or mine works, rescue operations. In poor visibility conditions, technology will determine the direction of movement and will organize the evacuation, including smoky conditions or the collapse of the building. The project helps not only the special services, but also citizens: cyclists, pedestrians and road users. The material can be embedded into roads and pedestrian zones.
The project has received the best status in the "open innovations", certifications from Microsoft and IBM to participate in BizSpark and the use of cloud services. Also, project team was invited to a breakfast meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
"In the" open innovations", we wanted, first of all, to introduce our product to meet with potential investors and partners to establish business relationship. And we did it - after a speech at the startup shows we had some investment proposals, which we have started to work, "- says Naira Davidson, LighTech CEO.
